EXPERIENCES
On the Water
Some parts of this coastline were never meant to be seen from a road. A private boat, arranged for you by the villa’s concierge, leaves from nearby Marina del Cantone and traces the coast at its own pace — past the rocky islets of Li Galli, where the Sirens were said to sing, and on toward Capri’s Faraglioni or the untouched inlet of Ieranto Bay.
Swim in coves with no beach towels but your own. Anchor for lunch wherever the water looks bluest. Watch Nerano shrink behind you and Capri grow larger ahead, knowing the villa — and dinner on the terrace — will still be there when you turn back.
Taste of Nerano
Pasta alla Nerano — spaghetti tossed with fried zucchini and provolone del Monaco — was invented a few minutes from this villa, and it’s still the dish locals argue about the “right” way to make. A private chef can bring it to your table exactly as intended, alongside a full evening menu built around what’s in season and what came off a boat that morning. For guests who want to do more than taste, a hands-on class walks you through the dish course by course, from frying the zucchini to the final toss of the pan. Pair the evening with a guided tasting of Campania’s own wines — Falanghina, Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino — poured by someone who can tell you exactly which hillside each one came from.
Pizza in The Villa
Some nights don’t call for a tasting menu. The villa’s own wood-fired oven turns the terrace into the easiest restaurant on the coast: a pizza chef arrives, dough goes in, and the whole group eats together, barefoot, without a single reservation. It’s the night the kids stay up a little later and everyone agrees was their favorite.
“No reservation, no dress code — just pizza from the villa’s own oven and the whole group at one table.”
Beyond the Villa
Nerano’s quiet position turns out to be its biggest advantage: everyone else’s postcard view is a short trip away, while your villa stays exactly as peaceful as you left it. Capri is a quick boat ride across the water — close enough for a half-day of Faraglioni views and lemon granita without committing your whole itinerary to it.
Along the coast road, Positano’s cliffside houses and Amalfi’s cathedral steps are each within reach for a day of wandering, shopping, and long lunches with a view. The concierge can arrange a driver, a boat, or both — so the only real decision each morning is which legendary coastline to see next.
Activities in Villa
Not every experience requires leaving the villa. On request, the concierge arranges in-villa treatments on your schedule: a massage on the terrace as the sea breeze comes in, a facial before a night out, a Pilates or yoga session at sunrise with the whole bay as a backdrop instead of a mirror.
As the day winds down, an aperitivo service can be set up wherever you’re gathered — rooftop, poolside, or terrace — so the last hour of daylight is spent exactly where you want to be, glass in hand, with nowhere left to be but here.
Celebrations
Some celebrations don’t need three hundred guests — they need the right twelve, and a view worth flying everyone in for. Villa Neranyum’s rooftop terrace, 170 square meters of open sky over the sea, becomes a ceremony backdrop no venue can replicate: Capri on the horizon, the Sirens’ islands catching the last light, a private chef turning the evening into a reception no one will forget.
Whether it’s a wedding, an anniversary, or a milestone birthday, the villa’s concierge handles the details — catering, décor, music — so the only thing you have to plan is who gets an invitation.
